Pizza Pasta Bake

This is a simple recipe I threw together last week. Dustin liked it and said I should share it here.  You can add any pizza toppings you like.  Yum!

1 pound box of penne pasta cooked al dente
1/3 cup of the starchy pasta water
1  8 ounce block of cream cheese
1 jar of your favorite pizza sauce
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
1  3.5 ounce bag of pepperoni chopped
1/3 cup chopped banana peppers
2 cups shredded mozzarella

After boiling, drain pasta setting aside 1/3 cup of the pasta water.  In the same warm pot, melt the cream cheese on a medium heat.  Add the pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, and water.  Mix together.  Add pepperoni, peppers and/or any other pizza toppings you choose.  Stir in 1 cup of the cheese and the pasta. Pour into a lightly greased 9 by 9 baking dish.  Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake at 350 for 20 - 30 minutes or until bubbly and warm.
